selectability is a committed to improving the lives of regional, rural and remote Queenslanders of all ages!
Four years ago, the state government asked selectability to take responsibility for three young people in the child safety system in remote Queensland following a local provider withdrawing services.
Since that time, selectability has supported many children and young people across regional Queensland ensuring they have the support in place to meet their developmental needs.
In collaboration with government agencies, selectability is working to increase our capacity so that we can deliver these vital services to more children and young people across our footprint.
Our team works with children and young people, helping them to build resilience and reach their potential supporting them to develop a positive sense of identity, social skills and the ability to create community connections.
We're a child safe organisation
As a child safe organisation, selectability is commited to creating a culture, adopting strategies and taking action to promote wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people. We put children's safety and wellbeing at the centre of values and actions and we listen to and respect the views of children and young people.

Supporting Qld's child safety workforce
selectability is proud to be a part of the Growing Our Own advisory group working to build a capable and resilient child protection workforce.
Representing us on this panel is Nicola Pennington, our Therapeutic Advisor for Child and Family Care services.
The 10 Child Safe Standards
The standard are clear rules everyone must follow, based on what matters most, to create safe environments, prevent abuse, and protect children and young people.
