Rockhampton

Coming soon - Rockhampton's new Mental Health Hub!

We are focused and committed to on ensuring more people in Rockhampton, and across regional Queensland have access to the mental wellbeing and suicide prevention services they need and deserve.

in 2021, selectability was awarded $3.1 million from the Resources Community Infrastructure Fund - a voluntary partnership between the Queensland Government, Participating Mineral Resources Industry Parties, the Queensland Resources Council and its members - to deliver a new mental wellbeing and suicide prevention safe haven.

The facility, the first of its kind in the region, will provide a safe, shared space where the general public can gain support for mental health challenges.
It will deliver individual and group NDIS supports, a range of counselling and therapeutic services and mental wellbeing programs tailored to the needs of the community.

the building will host a number areas for a diverse range of mental wellbeing and suicide prevention services for the Rockhampton community

These include

  • Office spaces
  • Open activity areas for our programs like our clubhouse program
  • A full service kitchen for consumers
  • Conference rooms
  • A large courtyard outdoor space

The facility will create a safe shared-space where community members who are experiencing mental health challenges can gain the support they need.

The project construction is expected to tbe completed by the end of 2024.
