Free mental health support
Commonwealth Psychosocial Support program (CPS)
CPS provides free support for people living with mental health challenges who need short-term, practical assistance to live more independently and feel connected to their community. The program is available to those not currently on the NDIS. If you are yet to apply for the NDIS, our team can support you through the application process.

We work with you to create a personalised plan based on your goals, strengths and what is most important to you.
Our team will support you to:

manage daily activities with confidence

build social skills, friendships and family relationships, get involved with your community

explore education, training skills and employment opportunities
Accessing the program
To access services through CPS, you must:
- be living with mental health challenges that affect your daily life

not be accessing NDIS services
-
not supported by a similar state or territory funded service or program

CPS is available through our mental health hubs in Bowen, Burdekin, Charters Towers, Ingham, Mackay, Moranbah, Palm Island, Richmond, Sarina and Townsville.
