Universal Aftercare
The Universal Aftercare Service provides free support to people over 15 following a suicide attempt or suicidal crisis.
Our team works with individuals to:
- promote strength and resilience by helping to build and maintain supportive social and family networks
- provide non-clinical support to complement clinical care, offering practical assistance to ensure safe and connected living
- tailor support to their unique circumstances and needs following a suicide attempt or crisis
- deliver timely support immediately after a hospital or mental health service visit, addressing the heightened risk during this critical period.
To be eligible:
- over 15 years old
- referred by North West Hospital Health Services (NWHHS)
