Meet the team: Todd O'Donnell

Meet Todd, one of selectability Training’s expert trainer and assessors guiding students through the cert III and diploma community service qualifications. Todd is also instrumental in designing and delivering  selectability’s internal leadership development program.  .

Todd has a special interest in neuroscience and psychology and uses principles from these disciplines to facilitate and coach groups.

“Working at selectability gives me a sense of purpose to help others build their capabilities to find jobs and work in the community services sectors.

“I have worked in the vocational education and training (VET) sector for over twenty five years. My passion and excitement for delivering learning programs and coaching others is just as strong today as it was on my first day.”

Todd’s professional qualifications focus on government, business, training and assessing and coaching. Within selectability Training Todd is the primary trainer and assessor for Certificate III in Community Service and Diploma in Community Services (Case Management).

As a North Queensland local, Todd grew up in Bowen and has lived in Townsville for many years.

“I am an avid North Queensland Cowboys fan and am looking forward to doing more caravanning.”

A supportive workplace, great staff and amazing consumers are three of the things that Todd enjoys most about working for selectability Training.

Holding various jobs before starting with selectability Training Todd is an experienced coach, trainer/assessor and business owner with over 25 years’ experience in telecommunications, business, government, vocational education and training sectors. But has since found a niche and passion within the community service sectors.

Todd draws much of his inspiration from the Anthony J D’Angelo quote:  “Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow”
