Meet the team: Ashley Low

21 February 2022

Meet Ashley, a Customer Service Officer (CSO) based at selectability Rockhampton.

Ashley will be celebrating her 1-year work anniversary with selectability on 16 March 2022.

Initially employed  as a Lifestyle Support Worker, Ashley has found her passion working in customer service in the mental health and community services sectors.

Ashley plays an integral role at selectability as a CSO – being the first point of contact for consumers and staff.

CSOs at selectability work to connect consumers and staff, managing daily rosters and assisting to ensure our consumers are receiving seamless support from our dedicated team of Lifestyle Support Workers.

As Ashley tells us, she enjoys working alongside both staff and consumers to improve mental wellbeing and contribute to suicide prevention across the Rockhampton community.

“selectability really makes employees feel valued and supported and my coworkers are awesome. They truly feel like family with so much heart and passion for the job,” said Ashley.

CSOs are also responsible for receiving and responding to calls from our consumers and ensuring that all consumer appointments are managed effectively.

“I enjoy working to encourage and support the mental health of our consumers, seeing consumers achieve their goals no matter how big or small.

“The staff here are great and I really enjoy working alongside a supportive team of like-minded people and strive to inspire and encourage positive change within our community.”

When not at work Ashley loves to spend time outdoors – whether that be motorbike riding, fishing or just spending time at the beach.
