Meet the team: Tanya Gwynne

Meet Tanya our Internal Audit and Risk Officer. Based at selectability’s head office in Townsville, Tanya joined the team in March this year.

With her strong background experience in quality and compliance, Tanya has played an instrumental role in ensuring that all selectability has in place best practices, processes and procedures so that our consumers receive high quality supports in all services and programs

 “I love the culture and work environment of selectability, every day is different,” Tanya said.

 “Part of my job involves the identification, evaluation, and management of risks.

 “Internal audits help put new practices into processes, and promote accountability, so that we can ensure we are doing the right thing by our consumers right across our wide footprint.

 “I have been a part of the industry for around three years prior to this I worked in the employment service industry where most of my compliance background came from.

 “I have also completed my studies in quality auditing.”

 Born in Sydney and raised in Queensland, Tanya has always had a strong passion for the mental wellbeing of others, and particularly regional parts of the state, with a background in assisting businesses obtain their NDIS accreditation.

 In her spare time, Tanya expresses her creative flair through her photography, whether it be nature or animals. 

 Whether it be her love for her job and colleagues, or her passion for promoting the best care for our consumers, there is no doubt that Tanya is an important asset to selectability’s corporate team.

 “Working in the mental health sector is an added bonus to something that I am already doing, and although I have only been here for a short time, I am looking forward to working with everyone across our footprint.”
