Leave 2022 in….2022

With a new year it’s time to shake off all those misconceptions that you may have that have been holding you back. Take time to reflect on what’s stopping you from moving forward.

Do you think you are too old to make a career change? Maybe you are stuck thinking it’s too hard? Scared of being a junior again? Worried you don’t have any formal qualifications?

Did you know at selectability that the position of Lifestyle Support Worker is entry level and we accept applications from all walks of life? We have LSWs who have bachelor’s degrees and we have those with life experience!

Think about your career in the long term

As a Lifestyle Support Worker you would be joining one of Australia’s largest and fastest growing sectors. Which means it may be ideal for those who are looking for longevity and security in their employment.

In 2023 it’s time to keep your eye on the prize and set yourself some achievable long term career goals. Remember though to always take your health and wellbeing into consideration. For many that looks like better work-life balance. As an LSW, selectability can offer you flexibility in your working hours to suit your lifestyle.

Time to study?

Making a career change can be a daunting process, however as mentioned above as an LSW you are not required to have any qualifications. You may though find it beneficial to learn while you earn and study with our registered training organization selectability Training. selectability Training offers a range of courses in Community Services, Individual Support and Mental Health all of which can teach you invaluable skills to set you up for success in your new role.
