Community & clinical

We partner with state and federal governments and key health organisations to deliver vital programs around mental wellbeing and suicide prevention.

Bike Shed

Locations: Ingham, Charters Towers and Mount Isa

Based on the proven Men’s Shed concept, selectability’s Bike Shed provides an inclusive space for locals to connect, work on projects, go for a bike ride and improve their mental wellbeing.

Clinical services

Locations: Ingham, Palm Island, Charters Towers and Mount Isa

Our team of mental health professionals provides treatment for a wide variety of conditions including depression, anxiety, stress, women's mental health, eating disorders, self-harm and PTSD.

Locations: Ingham, Palm Island, Charters Towers and Mount Isa

This is a unique, selectability-designed program of group and individual support available to individuals who are case managed by Queensland Health.

Carer Gateway

Locations: Ingham, Palm Island, Charters Towers and Mount Isa

selectability is a Carer Gateway regional delivery partner. As part of this we deliver respite and counselling services to carers across regional Queensland.

Holistic group activities

Locations: Palm Island

On Palm Island selectability's approach is holistic and highly tailored, wrapping around an individual to put in place a framework of support that will set them up for a successful recovery. Central to this are our dedicated women's and men's group programs. These aim to give consumers a safe space to socialise, learn new skills and reconnect with your community.

Women's group activities include:

  • beach trips
  • yarning circles

Men's group activities include:

  • fishing
  • beach relaxation
  • barbecues
  • yarning groups
  • board games

The Way Back Support Service

Locations: Mount Isa

selectability is pleased to partner with Beyond Blue and the Western Queensland Primary Health Network to deliver The Way Back Support Service. The service supports people during the critical three-month period following a suicide attempt or suicidal crisis.

Community Service Facilitator

Locations: Mount Isa

selectability’s Community Service Facilitator aims to improve integration of local health services and make the health system more accessible for people with severe mental illness and associated psychosocial disorders.
