WATCH: Meet the team - George K
Meet George, our program coordinator for the youth BikeShed program in the Burdekin.
This Social Inclusion Week, 23–29 November 2025, we highlight George’s role in supporting young people to build confidence, learn new skills and connect with others in a safe and welcoming space.
Under George’s guidance, young people work together on bicycle repairs, develop practical life skills and take part in group activities.
Social Inclusion Week encourages all Australians to feel included and valued, and to have the opportunity to take part in their community. George and the team at selectability bring this to life every week by creating meaningful opportunities for people to engage, learn and grow.
