Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid

selectability is pleased to offer the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid (AMHFA) course. 

This course has been culturally adapted for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and is delivered by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Instructors.

Course participants will learn first aid skills for helping indigenous people experiencing a mental health crisis, mental health problems or the early stages of mental illness. 

Participants who complete this training are eligible to complete an online accreditation assessment to receive a Mental Health First Aider Certificate of Accreditation valid for three years.

Date: Saturday 23 June & Saturday 30 June
Time: 9.00 am – 4.30 pm
Location: selectability House, 59A Cambridge St, Vincent.

Cost: $190 (normally $230) includes a course handbook

Places are limited so registration is essential

Tea and coffee is provided, bring your own lunch.
