About the Role 

Due to expanding growth within our organisation, a full-time permanent position has arisen for a driven and dedicated person with strong communication skills to join our Service Delivery team, with a significant focus on supporting our Supported Independent Living (SIL) consumers.

As a Team Leader you will oversee the delivery of programs and services to support the mental wellbeing of our consumers in the community. You will use your NDIS knowledge and experience to further grow our business, while ensuring excellence in customer service through mentoring your team, to tailor the delivery of service to each consumer’s unique goals and aspirations.

The Team Leader’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • manage and coordinate selectability Mackay’s SIL housing
  • participate in the intake process for new participants
  • oversee referrals for new NDIS participants
  • lead the development of individual service agreements
  • oversee the delivery of programs and services (including monthly reporting)
  • mentor and coaching staff in best practice in service delivery and support coordination
  • ensure compliance with relevant industry standards

About You 

The ideal candidate for the role will have:

  • in-depth knowledge of NDIS guidelines and processes
  • experience in the mental health Industry (highly desirable)
  • experience in the Supported Independent Living (SIL) and/or Child Safety Management/ Coordination areas (highly desirable)
  • experience in managing teams
  • experience in business development (highly desirable)
  • a positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) with a yellow card exemption or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • a current minimum P2 "C" class Queensland drivers’ licence
  • a registered, roadworthy, and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • First Aid and CPR certificates (or ability to obtain)

NOTE: It is a mandatory condition of employment for this position to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination will be required prior to commencing.
