Strengthening community connections in Ingham

Recently, General Manager Regional Development, Sally Schaefer, and Regional Coordinator Julie Ross hosted an information session for stakeholders and service providers in Ingham to discuss emerging challenges, future opportunities and ways to support wellbeing outcomes across the region.

Sally said the discussion gave participants an opportunity to share insights, strengthen relationships and explore how services can continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of the local community.

"Strong communities are built through strong relationships and genuine collaboration," Sally said.

"By listening to local voices and working with community partners, selectability can better understand what people need and ensure services continue to make a meaningful difference in people's lives."

Stakeholders also received an update on selectability's ongoing commitment to the region, including a service overview, workforce capability and community partnerships that support positive outcomes for people and communities across the Hinchinbrook region.

The session highlighted the value of collaboration in strengthening community wellbeing and ensuring services remain responsive to local circumstances and emerging needs.
