Mental Health Hub Townsville
The Townsville Mental Health Hub provides a safe and welcoming space for individuals to build confidence, learn new skills and make social connections to support their mental wellbeing.
Programs and groups on offer are focused on improving mental wellbeing with an emphasis on building confidence, connection and resilience through activities such as art, music, psychoeducation, fitness and like skills developed.
Facilitated by a team of mental health professionals and peer workers, we partner with key community organisations to deliver workshops on a range of topics including financial literacy and budgeting, health and fitness, independent living and employment and training.
Our recovery-oriented programs draw on the valuable knowledge of those with lived experience of mental illness. We understand that everyone’s journey is different and thus our program allows for access for as long as required.
