Protecting your mental health after incidents and accidents

selectability's victim of crime support program is specifically targeted at victims of property crimes such as or witnesses to incidents and accidents, including:

  • burglary
  • break and enter
  • unlawful use of a motor vehicle

It is designed to help individuals build resilience, understand signs of post-traumatic stress and develop strategies to improve their mental wellbeing.

Support options include:

Four week structure program (contact us for details of the next sessions) covering the following topics:

  • Safety awareness  (crime and how to keep yourself safe)
  • Recognising the signs of post trauma stress
  • Looking after yourself (self-care)
  • Where to next- (support services in the community)

Individual counselling 

One-on-one sessions with our qualified counsellor to improve your mental wellbeing.
