Mental Health Hub Townsville
selectability Townsville's Mental Health Hub aims to support those in the local community who experiencing a mental condition. The Hub provides a safe and welcoming space for individuals to build confidence, learn new skills and make social connections to support their mental wellbeing.
Programs and groups on offer are focused on improving psychosocial function and are aimed at assisting individuals to develop skills in locating and accessing services to meet their needs. Our programs have an emphasis on building confidence, connection and resilience through activities such as art, music, psychoeducation, fitness and like skills developed.
Facilitated by a team of mental health professionals and peer workers, we partner with key community organisations to deliver workshops on a range of topics including financial literacy and budgeting, health and fitness, independent living and employment and training.
Our recovery-oriented programs draw on the valuable knowledge of those with lived experience of mental illness. We understand that everyone’s journey is different and thus our program allows for access for as long as required.

Get creative in a fun, safe and friendly environment.
Our art group will help you to develop creative thinking skills, explore emotions and ideas through art and craft while building your confidence and overcoming the limitations of language.
